Catherine had a few ideas about her wedding invitations and turned to xowyo to help bring her ideas flourish. She wanted everything, from the save-the-dates to the reply cards to the welcome letter to the thank you notes to have a cohesive feel from. She wanted the pieces to stand out individually but also feel part of a whole.
Being from the South, we combined Catherine’s traditional, classic style with a modern mountain feel. She also wanted to highlight the Tetons and the natural feel of the outdoors. The invitation suite utilized their wedding colors, which were chosen to “let the outside in” and not compete with the beautiful landscape in Jackson.
Green, white, blush pink and grey served as the base for all things wedding, and they used those colors throughout their paper elements. The couple’s close friend drew a sketch of the Tetons, and they used it on the invitation, as well as on koozies and napkins to tie everything together during the wedding weekend. Pearl white Lettra letterpress paper was printed with dark gray text to let the simple elegance of the invitation shine through. We also created a wedding logo that we used on the reply cards and other small touches throughout the wedding. Finishing everything with Soho grey envelopes felt unique and simple and helped bring everything together.
